Fantastic Magic Camp is a joyful, inclusive day camp for kids ages 5–12, where magic, juggling, puppetry, and performance arts are the tools we use to build confidence, creativity, and connection. Since 1993, we've been creating unforgettable experiences for Austin-area families—helping kids learn new skills, make new friends, and feel truly seen and celebrated.

Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Each day includes rotating classes in magic, puppetry, juggling, and more, plus a live show from a professional performer. Campers learn how to practice tricks, perform on stage, and support each other with kindness and encouragement. Whether it's their first trick or their first time trying to juggle, kids are cheered on for showing up and trying something new.

Fantastic Magic Camp was founded by two professional magicians—The Fantastic Kent Cummins and Peter the Adequate—who dreamed of creating a place where kids could have a fun and safe place to experience the wonder of learning magic and performing, while also building self-esteem and lifelong social skills. They knew that juggling and puppets weren’t just fun—they were tools to help kids express themselves, take risks, and discover hidden strengths.

Over time, it became clear that the real “magic” of camp was the community it built. Many of our campers come back year after year, eventually becoming counselors and even staff or board members. In fact, every counselor and decision maker on our team today was once a camper themselves—including one who was in our very first session back in 1993!

Fantastic Magic Camp is more than just a camp—it’s a place where kids grow into leaders, performers, and confident, kind humans. We're honored to keep the magic going after more than 30 years, and we can’t wait to share it with your family.
