Scholarships
Fantastic Magic Camp can provide scholarships for tuition assistance to those campers needing it. Our goal is to not let a lack of money keep someone who is truly interested from attending our camp. If you would like to make a contribution to The Magic Camp Scholarship Fund (this donation will NOT be tax-deductable), please contact Aaron Parker-Fasel, the Camp Director, at (512) 850-4677, or send him an email at aaron@magiccamp.com.
To apply for a scholarship, you need to complete the registration process (click here). Registration will include a section asking you to explain three things:
- Why do you need the scholarship?
We don't need tax forms or doctors' letters; a simple statement will suffice. Some of the most common reasons involve single parenting, unusual medical expenses, etc. - How much do you need?
Most people can pay at least some portion of the tuition. For example, if you can pay half of the tuition, then the scholarship fund can help two children instead of just one. However, we want you to be honest in asking for what you really need. - Why do you think your child would particularly benefit from attending The Fantastic Magic Camp?
This is the most important part of the request. Please let us know specifically why you want to send your child to our camp.
We do not offer scholarships for before and after camp care. We want to make our scholarships available to those children who will benefit the most from our specific programs, as opposed to simply a need for day care. We answer scholarship requests as soon as we can, normally within two weeks of receiving them.
