The camp has ambitious plans to reach as many children in the community as possible. Because campers find it to be a fun and accepting environment in which they learn not just magic, juggling, and puppetry; but life skills as well, we want every child who wants to come to be able to attend, regardless of financial need. Therefore we are holding a fundraising gala at One World Theater on October 26th, 2008 to raise money for our scholarship fund. There are still seats available for both shows and all of the events! Online ticketing is now closed, but we will be happy to see you at the event and sell you tickets at the front door. Just follow the signs or ask a Magic Camp member to show you where to get the tickets.

All day gala pass$30 for kids (age 12 and under) & $60 for adults
Pays for all gala events, including both shows and both classes. It does not cover attendance to the VIP reception.
12:00 PM (Noon)- Doors openFREE!
Be entertained by walk around magic greeters, plus Magic Camp on unicycles, juggling, Puppet Shows, carnival games (win prizes!), and pizza from Mr Gatti's.
12:00 PM (Noon)- 2:00 PM - Silent auction for kidsFREE!
Children are invited to bid on magic supplies in a silent auction with items toward elementary aged children. Bid in increments of 25 cents!
1:00 PM - “Free Houdini Escape” Publicity stuntFREE!
Renowned Austin Magician John Maverick will attempt to escape from a straitjacket while suspended from the One World Theater balcony
2:00 PM - 3:30 - "Children's Magic Matinee"$10 for kids & $20 for adults
Some of The International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring 60's finest magicians will entertain the entire family
3:30 PM - 4:30 - Beginning Magic Class$5
Aspiring magicians of all ages may take this class. Those who take this class will go home with some special skills and props with which to amaze your friends

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM - Juggling Lessons!$10
This will be taught with adults in mind, though everyone is welcome, ESPECIALLY if you "know" that you'll never be able to juggle. Give us an hour and we'll show you that you can. Participants will get to keep the juggling props provided them.
6:00 PM - 6:30 PM - Special VIP ReceptionVIPs only!
Join Kent in the main theater for a special presentation meant for VIP eyes only. Buy a VIP pass today if you want to attend!
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM - “A Little Night Magic” Magic show for adults$20 for kids & $40 for adults
This two-hour show (including intermission) features sophisticated sorcery designed to appeal especially to adults (although there is nothing to offend the children who might attend). Several award-winning magicians with international reputations will amaze and entertain everyone!
